President and Chief Executive Officer, OUTRIGGER Hospitality Group

As OUTRIGGER Hospitality Group’s president and CEO, Jeff Wagoner oversees all aspects of the company’s multi-branded, global portfolio of hotels, resorts, vacation condominiums, timeshares and retail operations while steering the direction, growth and strategic priorities for the iconic beach resort brand.

Before joining OUTRIGGER in 2018, he served as EVP hotel operations for Trump Hotel Group, overseeing global performance for all resort properties. Prior to this, he held several roles with Wyndham Hotel Group, including president of Wyndham Hotel Group’s management company and EVP of brand and customer services for Wyndham’s hotel brands. Wagoner was also president of Wyndham Hotels and Resorts and SVP of operations at the former Wyndham International, where he oversaw more than 100 Wyndham and Wyndham Garden hotels.

Earlier in his career, Wagoner held management roles with Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Doubletree and Marriott International. He also served as COO for WhiteFence, an e-commerce company and SVP of sales for ZipRealty, a national full-service real estate brokerage firm.

Wagoner served on the board of directors for the MPI Foundation Global Board of Trustees and currently serves on the Hawai‘i Business Roundtable and American Hotel & Lodging Association boards. He is a founding member of Hawai‘i Hotel Alliance, an advisor for the University of Hawai‘i (UH) School of Travel Industry Management and on the board of ‘Ahahui Koa Ānuenue, supporting UH Athletics.

Wagoner’s leadership has garnered well-deserved acclaim. In 2019, Lodging Magazine named him as Person of the Year; HM Magazine honored him as the Asia-Pacific Hotelier of the Year in 2021 and Pacific Edge Magazine recognized Wagoner as the Hospitality Executive of the Year for 2022.

Lodging Magazine honored Wagoner as Person of the Year in 2019, HM Magazine donned him Asia-Pacific Hotelier of the Year in 2021 and Pacific Edge Magazine awarded him the Hospitality Executive of the Year in 2022.
