
KIERAN READ ONZM
All Blacks and Crusaders legend
Kieran spent 15 years playing professional rugby in New Zealand and Japan before retiring in 2021. Playing over 150 games for the Crusaders and 127 tests for All Blacks. A 4-time super rugby and 2 times Rugby World Cup winner, he captained both the Crusaders and All Blacks for extended periods, becoming the second most capped All Black captain of all time with 52 tests. Kieran has completed an applied management degree and a diploma of sport and exercise science. With a passion for leadership and helping others improve, rugby has given Kieran ultimate lessons and learning opportunities in the leadership space. Working in a high-performance team, being involved in establishing team culture and performing under pressure to name a few. Kieran now passes on these lessons through his business, Kieran Read Leadership.
