LUCIA GRAMBALOVA
Chief Investment Officer & Head of Asset Management, Hotel Capital Partners
Lucia is a highly experienced and accomplished investment professional with a distinguished career spanning over 20 years in the hotel real estate sector. Throughout her tenure, she has held leadership roles encompassing property investment, asset management, funds management and operations. Currently, she serves as the Chief Investment Officer and Head of Asset Management at Hotel Capital Partners Pty Limited.
In her present role, Lucia assumes responsibility for executing real estate investment and asset management mandates, with a particular focus on equity investing within the hospitality sector on a global scale. She is actively involved in deal structuring, capital raising and providing tailored asset management solutions.
Prior to her current position, Lucia held the position of General Manager Hotel Investments at Mulpha Australia. In this capacity, she concentrated on expanding direct equity real estate, debt and hospitality-related private equity investments. She also oversaw the value growth of major hotel assets located in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
Lucia’s expertise extends to establishing and overseeing the performance of the local office responsible for the delivery of investment outcomes for the Ascendas Hospitality Australia Fund, valued at $600 million. Furthermore, she held employment with the Mirvac Group, where she managed two wholesale unlisted hotel funds totalling nearly $1 billion in asset value. These funds consisted of a portfolio of 20 hotels situated in Australia and New Zealand.
During her earlier career, Lucia held various finance positions within the InterContinental Hotels Group. She possesses a Bachelor of Business degree from La Trobe University, holds a Master of Business Administration (Professional Accounting and Business Law) from the University of New England and is a Graduate of Australian Institute of Company Directors.
