JENNIFER DAVEY

Director, Horwath HTL

Jennifer Davey is Director for Research, Development & Strategy with Horwath HTL in Sydney, and has over 30 years of experience in the tourism and hospitality industry. 

With a background in tourism consulting, destination evaluation, hotel marketing and facilities management, Jennifer has developed her consulting skills working with Horwath HTL, Jones Lang Wootton (now Jones Lang La Salle), and Cushman and Wakefield. Her expertise is in tourism market analysis, strategic planning and feasibility consulting assignments for international and national hotel owners in Australia and the Pacific. 

During her career Jennifer has also worked on the strategic analysis of Australian and international destinations to evaluate and define the potential for new investment in hotels and resorts for both private and government sector.

Her experience includes the strategic analysis, re-positioning and refurbishment of branded and independent hotel assets with a focus on the evaluation and delivery of accommodation solutions.

Jennifer has a Graduate Diploma in Tourism Management, and a Bachelor of Arts (Leisure Studies) from the University of Technology, Sydney. She regularly presents at industry conferences and has lectured for Torrens University’s Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School where she is currently a member of their Advisory Board.
