The Asia Pacific Hotel Industry Conference & Exhibition (AHICE), hosted by HM and Wayfarer magazines, made its debut in Western Australia on August 27, 2025, with the inaugural 4.5-hour Western Australia Hotel Summit held at the luxurious Crown Perth.

The event brought together leading hotel owners, operators, consultants and suppliers from across the region.

Our program for the 2026 event will include evocative, educational and insightful keynote speakers, Q&As and panel sessions featuring more than 25 key speakers from across Perth, Western Australia and globally.

The launch of AHICE in Perth follows the success of our global events in Australia (Adelaide and Sydney), the United States (Hawaii and Los Angeles), Japan, Singapore, the Maldives, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Fiji, with more than 4,500 people attending what’s become the leading hotel industry event series across the Asia-Pacific region.

See the opportunity before you talk about it!

Start Summit Day on the ground. Registered delegates are invited to join Tourism WA for an exclusive morning tour of Perth’s most exciting tourism investment sites, before the Perth Hotel Summit kicks off.

Departing Crown Perth at 9:00am on Thursday 10 December, the tour takes in Perth’s revitalised CBD and spectacular coastline, with stops at key development sites along the way.

We finish at Burswood Point, where you’ll hear first-hand about the precinct’s next chapter and the future Anantara Perth resort.

You’ll be back at Crown by 1:00pm, in time for the Summit’s 1:45pm start, with fresh perspective and plenty to talk about.

A note from the organisers: Due to a number of unofficial invite-only events taking place during conferences in recent years, we would ask that businesses and individuals please do not host any events during the above times as a courtesy to other sponsors of AHICE Perth.

We all know that without sponsors, events like this cannot happen and we ask that our request is respected. If unapproved events do take place during the official times, the organisers and representatives of those companies will not be able to attend any AHICE sessions and are at the risk of passes being revoked.

We are also requesting that supplier and adviser attendees that aren’t sponsors of the event do not canvas for business with sales materials and documents at AHICE Perth events. Those that do will be at the risk of passes being revoked.
