Australian-born Toby Rand is a Los Angeles and Las Vegas-based singer, songwriter, and recording artist known for his powerful, raw vocals and diverse musical style.

Rand first became a household name in 2006 through his appearance on CBS’s Rockstar: Supernova, where he captivated audiences alongside Tommy Lee, Jason Newsted, Gilby Clarke, and Dave Navarro. The show, widely considered one of the best live music competitions ever produced, featured Rand as a fan favorite, drawing over 20 million viewers each week. His time on Rockstar: Supernova led to several record contracts and collaborations with musical acts, resulting in global tours and widely acclaimed releases.

Drawing from a rich mix of musical influences—from the raw energy of ’70s classic rock and ’90s grunge to ’80s-inspired sounds—Rand’s artistry has left an indelible mark on both his audience and the industry. His voice, characterized by its emotional depth and power, continues to resonate across various musical genres.

Beyond his solo work, Rand is an integral member of AshenMoon, a band he co-founded with Garry Beers of INXS fame. Rand’s versatility extends to performing in high-profile projects such as the Broadway musical Rock Me Amadeus (formerly Rocktopia), Supergroup RadioXx (featuring members of Savage Garden and Lifehouse), and channeling the spirit of Jim Morrison in the hit Vegas show 27.

Rand’s distinctive voice can also be heard in major film and television productions, including Penguins of MadagascarIce AgeKung Fu PandaCSI, and Station 19.

When not performing, Rand co-founded Australian Made USA, a collective of Australian creatives based in Los Angeles, specializing in turnkey solutions for festivals, events, conferences, and expos of all sizes.

Rand’s current residency in Las Vegas continues to elevate his career, with performances alongside music legends such as Sammy Hagar, Bruno Mars, Adam Levine, Joey Fatone, and a career-defining moment with Sir Rod Stewart. Other notable career highlights include co-hosting the sports/entertainment show All Stars TV with Dennis Rodman, leading a prestigious jam night residency at the Four Seasons Beverly Hills, opening for Slash & Friends in Norway, and jamming backstage with Michael J. Fox at Radio City Music Hall.
